April is Wildlife Conservation month... With the extended daylight and the cooperation of the weather we will be doing some outdoor activities.

The next Pack Meeting will be Saturday, April 28 at 3:00 in the Verdigris High School Cafeteria. This will be the Father-Son cake bake. There will be awards in many different categories of cake decoration, so let's start baking !

May's Tiger Den Meeting will be Wednesday May 9th at 6:15 at the RSU Nature Center (located at the back of the college by the Radio Station). We will be given a guided tour and learn about nature and the environment. We will then meet the requirement for the Nature Conservation bead and belt loop.

After Tiger Cub graduation on May 17th our Tigers will be Cub Scouts and can start working on the first  "Bobcat " badge. The requirements for this badge are listed in this newsletter. Please purchase the Cub Scout Wolf Handbook; this book lists the requirements for both the Bobcat badge and the Wolf badge. It can be purchased at the Tool & Pawn in Claremore, or the Scout Center in Tulsa. We will use this book to advance as we move into the Wolf Program. The Cub Scout uniform information can be found on the internet at http://www.geocities.com/~pack215/cubuniform.html  Information is also available in the Wolf Book. It is the blue uniform with the yellow neckerchief you have seen the cubs wearing at the pack meetings. I look forward to our Tiger Cub Graduation, and hope to see all of you in Cub Scouts as we move on to earn new badges and have fun with new and exciting activities.
